Is it time to switch completely to Linux?

I've been dual booting Windows and Linux Mint for quite some time, but honestly, I hardly ever use Windows. It feels like it's just taking up space on my computer. Before I make a big change and wipe Windows completely, I wanted to ask for some advice. Should I go fully Linux?

I made the switch recently, and honestly, it's been a smoother ride than I expected! If your drive isn't too full and you have Linux equivalents for what you need, go for it. But also keep in mind, you can always revert back if you really need Windows later.

Make sure you back up anything you might need from Windows before you delete it. If there's nothing crucial, you won't miss it much! Otherwise, maybe keep it around just in case you need to run certain software.

Absolutely, go for it! I've switched to Linux-only for over 20 years and never looked back. Once you make the leap, you'll wonder why you waited so long.

That's a personal decision. It really depends on whether you need Windows for certain applications or work. If you don’t absolutely require it and you're just using it for storage, consider wiping it. Just remember, you can always reinstall if you find you need it later.

If gaming isn't a big part of your life and you don't need Windows for anything specific, switching could be great! I went fully Linux and I have no regrets. Just check if you have alternatives for the software you used on Windows.
