Is it worth getting more VRAM for the RTX 5060?

I'm a bit confused about the VRAM options for the RTX 5060. I initially thought about getting the 16GB variant, but I've read some threads that suggest having more VRAM isn't always necessary. Some users say that the performance issues will hit before you're limited by VRAM capacity. I'd love to opt for the 5070 12GB instead, but the price difference in my area is about $100 more. The 5060 with 8GB is only $400, which is tempting too. Essentially, is it worth paying more for additional VRAM, or will 8GB be sufficient for most gaming?

It really depends on your gaming habits and the games you play. For most casual gaming at 1080p, 8GB is usually fine. However, when you start playing more demanding titles or at higher resolutions, having that extra VRAM can definitely help you avoid performance issues. It's worth considering what kind of games you play.

Totally! If you're into games that push graphics a lot, especially at 1440p, I’d suggest going for more VRAM.
