I just built a new PC with the following specs:
- CPU: 9950X3D
- Motherboard: Asus X870E EXTREME
- RAM: 64GB (6400MHz)
The motherboard came with BIOS Version 1605 (dated 2025/07/22) and everything seems to be running smoothly. I'm curious whether I should update to Version 2103 (released on 2026/03/16) just to have the latest version. Will I see any performance gains or other benefits from this update?

Check out the patch notes for the BIOS version you're considering. If your system is stable and you're not encountering any issues, then there's really no urgent need to update. BIOS updates usually don't lead to significant performance changes, especially if you're not overclocking extensively.
The major change in Version 2103 is the AGESA update to ComboAM5 PI 1.3.0.0a. This update should provide better stability during DDR5 training and fix some boot issues with certain Ryzen 9000 setups. The previous version, 1605, had AGESA 1.2.0.3f. So if you're experiencing any issues or have concerns about stability, it might be worth it to upgrade.
