I'm considering upgrading my GPU from a GTX 1650 Super to a GTX 1080. My setup is a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, and a couple of 1080p monitors. I'm eyeing a used GTX 1080 for about 8500 Indian Rupees (around $92) but I've heard that the GTX 1080 no longer receives driver support, which could affect new games, and there are some security concerns. Given my budget constraints and the fact that I really want to improve my gaming experience, should I go for this upgrade?

Honestly, if you're tight on budget, I'd recommend waiting for something better like the RTX 3060. The GTX 1080 is still a solid card, but it's becoming outdated quickly, especially with security issues and no updated drivers. You might be limiting yourself moving forward.
Upgrading to the GTX 1080 is definitely a big step up from the 1650 Super. Just keep in mind the lack of driver support could impact newer games, but if you're primarily playing older titles or can tolerate lower performance on new ones, it might still be a worthwhile investment. Just make sure the card is in good condition before you buy it!
Absolutely go for it! The performance leap from the 1650 Super to the GTX 1080 is huge. Even if you don’t get the latest drivers, the 1080 will handle games much better than your current setup. Plus, at that price, it’s a steal—just check its condition!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely check the condition before deciding.
