I'm considering upgrading my Ryzen 5 9600x to a 7800x3d. I currently have a 5070ti graphics card. Would this upgrade actually make a significant difference in performance, or is it more of a sidegrade? I'm curious about potential FPS gains and overall stability, especially for gaming. What are your thoughts?

Honestly, it's more of a sidegrade unless you're playing specific CPU-heavy games for hours. Your 9600x is still solid for most gaming needs. I'd save your cash for better peripherals or a future full build instead.

It seems like you'd only see about a 10% increase in average FPS. You might get more stable frame rates, particularly in the 1% low metrics, but I'm not sure if that justifies the cost of an upgrade.
