Is it worth upgrading from my 4070 for 180Hz 1440p gaming?

I'm currently using a 4070 graphics card and I'm wondering if I need to upgrade for a better experience at 180Hz on a 1440p monitor. I'm heading to Microcenter soon, and I'm considering getting a Radeon 9070XT. What do you all think?

Also, what's your CPU? If you have a fast enough processor, you should easily reach 180fps at 1440p with a 4070, especially with optimized settings. That combo can work great!

If you're not hitting the performance you expect, what's the rest of your setup like? Upgrading might not be necessary if everything else is solid.

It really depends on the game. Just try turning the settings down to see if that helps you hit that 180fps mark. It might save you the need for an upgrade.
