I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 5600X overclocked to 4.8GHz with an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard, along with 32GB of DDR4 RAM (2x 16GB and 2x 8GB) and an AMD RX 9070XT graphics card. I'm considering upgrading my CPU, but with RAM prices being so high right now, I'm unsure if it's worth it to go for an expensive upgrade like the 5800X3D or 5700X3D. Alternatively, should I think about investing in the AM5 platform instead?

Honestly, I feel like nothing's really worth it in this market right now. You're either going to end up paying a premium for the 5800X3D or 5700X3D, or you'll blow cash on overpriced DDR5 RAM. It's a tough choice.
What kind of issues are you facing? I have a 5600X paired with a 4070 Super and everything runs smoothly for me, no problems at all with modern games.
I can't quite max out my graphics card in CPU-heavy games like Cyberpunk and Star Citizen, that's where I'm struggling.

That's my dilemma too! But what's actually the best move right now?
