Is my budget build good for graphic design and gaming?

I'm looking to build a budget PC using a Ryzen 2600 and a GTX 1660 (6 GB). I'm wondering if this setup will be sufficient for graphic design tasks, like using Photoshop, as well as for gaming. I'm not aiming to play super demanding games like Cyberpunk; I'm more interested in playing something like God of War 3. Additionally, I'm curious about what motherboard would work best with this setup. Thanks in advance!

Also, just a heads-up, when you mention 'GOW 3', make sure you clarify which game you're referring to, as there are a few variations out there. In terms of a motherboard, look for something that fits your Ryzen 2600—maybe a B450 chipset would do the trick. Happy building!

Your Ryzen 2600 and GTX 1660 combo is a decent starting point, but keep in mind that both parts are getting a bit old—almost 10 years now! What's your total budget? There might be better options for your money, especially considering that things can be tough in the Egyptian market right now.

I'm working with a budget of 12,000 EGP (around 250 dollars). I know it's tight, and tech options here are pretty limited.

For graphic design and Photoshop, your setup should do fairly well, but don't expect it to handle heavy filters or the latest features smoothly. As for gaming, you might struggle to hit 60 FPS on titles like God of War 3, especially if you are considering downgrading to a cheaper GPU. Stick with the GTX 1660 for better performance, and avoid the RX 570 right now.

Yeah, with your current GPU, you're likely to have a tough time reaching 60 FPS in games like God of War 3, for sure.
