Is my current PC setup good for gaming, or should I upgrade my GPU and CPU?

Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my graphics card. Right now, I have an R7 5700X processor, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 5500XT 8GB GPU. I was thinking about getting a 9600XT 16GB. My question is, will this setup be solid for both current and future games? I'm mainly focused on gaming at 1080p, so I don't need anything for 2K resolution. Also, should I plan to upgrade my processor soon, or is the 5700X still sufficient with this GPU? Thanks in advance!

Are you facing any issues with your games at 1080p right now?

Yeah, new titles are struggling a bit. For instance, God of War Ragnarok hits only 40-50 fps on medium settings, and Dead Space Remastered is in the same boat. I'm also playing The Crew Motorfest, but it's barely holding 60fps and dips sometimes.

Upgrading to the RX 9060 XT 16GB would be a fantastic choice! It can handle all the current games at 1080p beautifully. Your 5700X processor is doing fine, and honestly, unless you're eyeing an X3D chip, which is pretty hard to find these days and quite pricey, I wouldn't rush into a CPU upgrade.

Your 5700X is still good for now, but the future of gaming is always a bit unpredictable. The 9060 XT 16GB would pair really well with your setup. Just see how your games perform right now and gauge if an upgrade is necessary as time goes on.
