Is My First PC Build Heating Up Too Much?

I just completed my first PC build, and while everything seems to be functioning well, I want to double-check the temperature levels. My setup is located in a desk cabinet with drawers. Currently, the idle temperature is 28°C, and after some stress testing using mrep.info, it peaked at 78°C. Is this normal? I'm concerned about airflow in the cabinet, but it looks like it's handling it okay. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this.

Totally normal! Since it's your first build, it's good to keep an eye on temps, but you won't need to stress unless you hit around 95°C. Just be sure to monitor it occasionally.

Thanks for the reassurance! Now I'm kind of curious about what would happen if it really did reach that high.

Yeah, that temp is fine! If you're looking for better airflow, consider adding an intake and exhaust fan in the cabinet. I usually place the intake at the bottom and the exhaust at the top for optimal performance.
