Is My GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Enough for Battlefield 6?

I recently upgraded to a GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM, expecting that more VRAM would fix my FPS issues in bigger games. However, I'm still struggling to get decent performance in Battlefield 6, where my frame rates often dip into the low 30s, even when I set the resolution and graphics settings to the lowest possible options. I have an Intel i9-9900KF and 32GB of DDR4 RAM on a PCIe SSD, so I thought my setup should handle it better. What could be causing these performance issues?

I had a similar experience with my old CPU, which bottlenecked my performance even with a newer GPU. If you're getting huge FPS drops, it could be worth looking into a CPU upgrade as well. Many players encounter that issue!

It can be frustrating when VRAM alone doesn’t solve performance issues. For Battlefield, it’s not just about the GPU; your CPU needs to keep up too. Consider tweaking your settings or even exploring an upgrade for a smoother experience.

It sounds like you're hitting the lower end of the game's requirements. The RTX 3060 is solid, but it might not be enough for Battlefield 6, especially if your CPU is also on the older side. Lowering settings helps, but sometimes the hardware just doesn't keep up, even if you have more VRAM. An upgrade could be worth considering!

Yeah, I was in a similar spot. I upgraded my CPU, and that made a huge difference. You might want to look into that if you're serious about improving your gaming experience.
