Is My GPU Salvageable After a Soda Spill?

I accidentally knocked a mostly empty cup of soda off my desk while gaming, and it spilled into my PC case, specifically onto my GPU. The rest of my components seem to be fine, but I quickly turned everything off, unplugged it, and cleaned the GPU with isopropyl alcohol where the soda dripped. Now, I'm letting it dry for a few days. What are the chances my GPU is still functional after this incident?

You did the right thing by turning everything off and cleaning it. Just make sure to give it a good blow with an air duster to get into any nooks where liquid might have pooled. After it's completely dry, power it on and see what happens!

Honestly, unless it becomes evident that there’s damage, there's no real way to tell until you test it. It’ll probably be fine unless it decides not to work, which is super unhelpful, I know!

Yeah, I'm just hoping for the best at this point!

It's kind of a toss-up. You're looking at about a 50/50 chance; it could be either totally fine or completely shot. Just keep your fingers crossed!
