Is My NVMe External Enclosure Defective Since It’s Missing a Pin?

I just opened my new NVMe enclosure and found a loose pin inside it. I'm wondering if this means the enclosure is defective. The image shows the condition of the enclosure. Is it okay if two pins are missing, or should I be worried and consider returning it? Thanks for your help!

It sounds like you got a faulty product. I’d recommend returning or exchanging it, especially since a loose pin could impact the performance or safety of the device. Don’t take any chances with it!

SkepticSam: Yeah, but since it was shipped from abroad, returning might be a hassle. Just make sure it’s not affecting your drive if you decide to keep it.
