Is My Old Cooler Master Case Still Good for a New Gaming PC?

I'm in the process of building a new gaming PC and I have an old Cooler Master HAF X case that I got from a friend a while back. I'm wondering if this case is still suitable for my new build or if it's too outdated. I'm aiming for a setup that can handle 144Hz gaming at 1440p while streaming and recording. The case has a windowed side panel and USB 3.0 ports. Also, it currently includes an EVGA Supernova 750B power supply. Can I reuse this case or should I consider getting a new one?

Honestly, it's just a case. They don’t really wear out, so as long as it fits your new components, you’re good to go!

Yeah, it’s definitely still usable. Just remember it's a big case with no PSU shroud. I'd suggest replacing the PSU since it's pretty outdated.

If it’s not broken, go ahead and use it! It’ll still serve its purpose well enough.

Your Cooler Master HAF X case is still a solid choice, especially considering its size and airflow capabilities. You can definitely reuse it for your new build, but make sure to update other components like the fans and power supply. One perk of this case is that it runs silently with those larger fans, but keep in mind that if you're planning on an AIO liquid cooler, you'll be limited to a single 140mm unit without some modification.

Thanks for the insight! I'm leaning towards a liquid cooler, so I might just sell the case.
