Is My Ryzen 9 9800X3D Causing a Bottleneck with RTX 5080 in Cyberpunk 2077?

Hey everyone! I spent a couple of hours tweaking my setup because my CPU and GPU were running hotter than I'd like. Here's what I'm currently running:

- RTX 5080 at 3000 MHz on 975 mV
- Ryzen 9 9800X3D with a curve optimizer of -20, PPT at 90W, TDC 65A, EDC 90A, +200 MHz overclock, and x10 scalar
- 64 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM

When playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p on Ultra settings without ray tracing, my performance stats look like this:
- GPU usage is around 98% at 2910 MHz using 272W and hitting about 63°C
- CPU usage is at ~75% running at 4.6 GHz with 71W and about 67°C, resulting in ~138 FPS.

However, when I turn on ray tracing, CPU usage drops to around 50-65% while the GPU hovers between 95-98%. Is this normal for Cyberpunk at 1440p, or am I experiencing a CPU bottleneck here?

Nah, your temps and usage are totally normal! The 9800X3D is a top-notch gaming CPU, and it's not bottlenecking anything. It's actually pretty rare for a GPU to sit at a full 100%. As long as yours stays above 95%, you’re golden! What did you mean by 'too hot' before your tweaks?

Yeah, the GPU was hitting around 70°C and the CPU was between 70-80°C. It was definitely making my room warm! But after tweaking, I only lost 1-2 FPS while the temps and power consumption dropped significantly. Plus, it’s way quieter now!
