Is my TV broken or just acting up?

Hey everyone! I just got back from vacation and when I turned on my TV, I was greeted with these strange stripes all over the screen. I can hardly make out what I'm supposed to be watching! Is there any way I can fix this issue myself?

It’s hard to say for sure without seeing the stripes. If you could upload a picture to something like Imgur, that might help people diagnose the issue better.

First things first, try unplugging your TV and any connected devices (like your set-top boxes and game consoles) for about a minute. Sometimes a quick reboot is all it needs! If that doesn’t work, check your video cables. They can go bad, and swapping them out is cheap and easy compared to a new TV.

CuriousCat24: Here's the link to the picture: https://imgur.com/a/xOikapf. The stripes seemed to have disappeared for now, but there was a tiny one at the bottom that vanished too.
