I've been diving into various Linux distros recently, especially intrigued by how they differ in installation and usability. I found the installation of Arch quite daunting from a video I saw titled 'The Linux Experience - Arch.' However, the follow-up on 'Omarchy' seemed more straightforward, which piqued my interest. As someone who's not very tech-savvy, I'm wondering if I can use Omarchy without messing things up. I've been using Ubuntu, which is decent, but I'm curious if Omarchy offers that true 'Linux experience' I've been looking for. Should I just make the switch or test it out on a virtual machine first?

What are you really hoping to gain from switching from Ubuntu to Omarchy?

That's what I'm trying to figure out! Ubuntu works fine for me, but I'm just eager to experience something that feels more like a traditional Arch system. I dabble in coding and programming, but my main reason to explore is to escape the ad-filled environment and give my desktop a personal touch.
