I have one Microsoft 365 E5 license in a lab tenant that I use for professional development. Most of the Intune E5 features became available in July, but as of September 8, 2026, Security Copilot still hasn't been provisioned. When I visit the Security Copilot portal, I'm prompted to configure paid security capacity at the hourly rate instead of seeing the included capacity.
My work tenants received access about two months ago. I opened a support case last month, and Microsoft confirmed that even a single E5 license qualifies for the Security Copilot inclusion—there's no minimum user count or consumption commitment. Has anyone else with a small lab tenant received access, or is provisioning still rolling out?

I briefly got past the capacity screen by clicking the title in the upper-left corner, and the service appeared to work for a few minutes. Unfortunately, it then started asking for capacity again, so that seems to be a temporary glitch rather than actual provisioning.
It sounds like larger tenants may be getting prioritized ahead of small labs and smaller organizations. There doesn’t seem to be a clear timeline for when every eligible tenant will receive the included capacity.
I’m still waiting too. The tenant appears eligible and there doesn’t seem to be anything blocking the default workspace, but Security Copilot hasn’t been enabled yet.
Same situation here—nothing has appeared in production despite checking repeatedly. It may be a service-side provisioning issue, so opening a Microsoft support case is probably the best next step.
