Is SpyHunter detecting real malware or just scare tactics?

I recently downloaded SpyHunter after seeing a recommendation on YouTube, despite being a loyal user of Malwarebytes. When SpyHunter flagged a ton of issues—20 trojans, 325 PUPs, and 30 adware items—I was really freaked out! I wanted to remove everything immediately, but it's behind a paywall. I've also tried AVG, Malwarebytes, and Windows Security to no avail. My main concern is that SpyHunter seems to find things none of the other software does, and I can't manually delete the suspected malware. Can anyone suggest a good free option or provide guidance on what to do?

Honestly, SpyHunter is considered pretty unreliable by many users. A lot of folks refer to it as scareware, so I’d recommend uninstalling it and moving on.

Before you panic, check out this article about SpyHunter. There’s a lot of controversy around it, so it could be overstating the risks. What exactly is it claiming to find?

I have OneBrowser on my PC, and it flagged a bunch of stuff from that. Some of the "adware" was just cookies from websites I've saved.
