Is the 5060 Ti 8GB a Good Deal or a Bad Choice?

I recently picked up a used 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM for €190. I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews about it, but the benchmarks I've checked out on YouTube seem pretty decent. I'm planning to pair it with an i5 12400F and mostly game at 1080p. Is it really as bad as everyone claims, or is it a good value for the price?

It's not a bad card, but the 8GB can hold it back, which is why some people think it’s a waste at full price. It's great for 1080p gaming at medium to high settings, but you'll notice it struggle with more demanding games compared to 16GB versions.

You definitely got a solid deal! Although 8GB of VRAM might be a limiting factor in some games, playing at 1080p with a few graphical tweaks should work just fine. Just be prepared to dial back VRAM-heavy features like path tracing to get the most out of your card.

Everything really comes down to how much you paid. At €190, it's a good buy, but if you're looking at the €320 new price, that would feel like a rip-off.

Honestly, for the price you paid, you can't expect much better. At €190, it’s a great value!

It's a decent card, but just keep in mind that it'll likely show its age quicker due to the limited VRAM. Enjoy your gaming!
