I'm thinking about upgrading to the 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM from my current 2070. The price looks good for my budget, but I'm a bit worried about the VRAM. I mostly play competitive FPS games at 1080p on low settings, along with some single-player games here and there. I don't really strive to max out the settings; I usually play on a mix of high settings. Should I be concerned about the 8GB of VRAM, or am I just overthinking it? I also looked into the RX 9060 XT, but the 5060 Ti is significantly cheaper. What do you think?

If you can get the RX 9060 XT with 16GB for the same price as the 5060 Ti's 8GB, it might be a better investment. While 8GB isn't terrible for your usage, the extra VRAM on the 9060 XT could pay off in the long run, especially as games continue to demand more resources.
You're probably fine with the 8GB for your gaming needs, especially if you're okay with adjusting some settings on newer titles. Just keep an eye on textures and other settings that might eat up VRAM. It’s not a deal-breaker for playing at 1080p low to medium settings.

That's a good point! I've been leaning more towards AMD lately too since they seem to give better value, especially with those specs.
