Hey everyone! I'm currently using a 6750xt and gaming at 1440p, but I feel it's time to upgrade. I'm considering the 5070—would it be a good choice for me?

The 5070 is around 40% faster than the 6750xt, so you'd definitely see a significant boost in performance.

Honestly, I'd skip the 5070 in favor of the 9070xt. I upgraded from a 6750xt to a 9070xt and it's nearly double the performance! If it fits your budget, go for that instead.

Yeah, the 5070 is good, but aren't you losing VRAM if you switch? If you can stretch your budget a bit, look into the 9070xt; you'll get better value in the long run.

That's a good point! I didn't think about the VRAM. Might need to do some more research!

Check out the RX 9070s too! If you can find them under $600, they'll offer better VRAM and performance compared to the 5070.

It's a solid card that should give you a nice increase in FPS, especially in games optimized for it.
