Is the 7600X a Good Choice for 1440p 240Hz Gaming?

I'm building a gaming PC to pair with my 1440p 240Hz monitor and I'm planning to use an RTX 5070 GPU. I'm curious if the 7600X will be enough for this setup. If it's not suitable, I'd appreciate suggestions for a CPU that can at least handle 1440p at 240Hz, especially since I might upgrade my components in the future.

It really depends on what games you plan to play. I’m running a similar setup, and while the 7600X can handle 1440p pretty well, it often struggles to hit 200+ FPS in more demanding games like Battlefield 6. For less intense games, you should have no trouble getting high frame rates.
