I'm curious about the 9070 XT's performance for 4K gaming. I've seen it can handle some games at this resolution, but none of the benchmark videos reflect the specific titles I play or my usual graphics settings. Many benchmarks use ultra settings, but I find that high is often just as effective without the lag. Can anyone share how well the 9070 XT runs games like Where Winds Meet and Star Wars Battlefront II at 4K on high or medium settings? I'm especially looking for performance that can reach around 100 FPS.

With FSR, I've hit over 100 FPS playing Where Winds Meet at 4K, so it’s totally doable!
YouTube benchmarks are a great resource! Overall, the 9070 XT is very capable for 4K gaming, so you shouldn't have any issues.
In 2026, you don’t need to drop settings too low unless they have negligible impact. Just upscale using FSR 4.1, and the 9070 XT should handle max settings on everything except for path tracing, which can be tough on AMD cards. Just a heads up, "lag" isn’t what you might think!
I can vouch for the 9070 XT—it’s solid for 4K gaming! Just don’t go expecting high frame rates if you want max settings with ray tracing enabled. If you aim for high settings and use FSR Performance, you should enjoy a great gaming experience. Also, check out Optiscaler since it can help you force FSR 4 support in more games.
With a 5700X3D paired with the 9070 XT, I’ve gotten consistent 4K/60 FPS on high settings, but no ray tracing. FSR 4 works well, too, when available!
Yeah, as long as you don’t plan on doing ray tracing at max settings, you should be fine!

Definitely! Focus on high settings for a smoother experience.
