Is the Arctic Liquid Freezer III ARGB 420 AIO Worth Upgrading From the II ARGB 360 for an i9-14900K?

I'm currently using the Arctic Liquid Freezer II ARGB 360 AIO to cool my Intel i9-14900K, and it's been working well overall. However, after a recent deep clean, one of the fans has started acting up—sometimes stopping and starting again and occasionally making a grinding noise with some vibration. I considered just replacing the fan, but then I found a local shop selling the Liquid Freezer III 420 AIO for just $100. My case is a Cooler Master HAF 700, which has enough space for a 420mm AIO. I'm wondering if I should make the switch and if it's a valuable upgrade compared to my current setup. I'd love to hear anyone's experiences with the Freezer III 420!

Why not just replace the fan? It's only like $10. If you're looking to save cash and your cooler is still performing decent, that's the way to go! But if you're feeling adventurous and want a change, the 420 for $100 seems tempting!

That’s what I was thinking! But still curious about the performance jump. Might be worth it for a new setup.

Honestly, if you're happy with the temps you're getting from your current setup, it might be better just to swap out the fan instead of upsizing to the 420. The P12 Max fans could give you a nice little performance boost, even though they might be a bit noisier. You can always dial them down if the noise bothers you though!
