I'm currently using an old motherboard and CPU, but I'm considering an upgrade. I'm leaning towards the Asus TUF Gaming B550M-Plus Wi-Fi II paired with a Ryzen 5 5600. Is this combo good, and are the individual parts solid? I'm not on a super tight budget, but I want to keep costs reasonable. By the way, I have an RTX 3060 12GB GPU. Thanks for any insights!

Honestly, investing in AM4 might not be the best choice now since the platform is becoming outdated. Production for AM4 parts is declining, and they’ll soon be harder to find. If your current CPU and motherboard aren’t bottlenecking your GPU, there’s no immediate need to upgrade. However, if you do go with AM4, it’s wise to look for used parts since AM4 is phasing out, making new purchases less sensible.
