I'm gearing up to build my first PC and I'm set on using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a 5080. I've heard a lot about coolers, and while some think water cooling is just for show, I'm leaning towards the be quiet! Dark Rock 5. My main concern is: will it handle the 7800X3D well, or should I consider something like the 380 instead? Also, I'm looking for a solid case for this setup. I'm thinking about the Thermaltake 290 TG, but I'm not sure if everything will fit properly. Any tips would be awesome!

Absolutely, the Dark Rock 5 is more than enough for the 7800X3D. But if you're worried about RAM prices, you might want to look at some budget coolers like the Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit—they're great performers too! Saving on the cooler could let you invest that cash into better RAM or GPU instead.

Thanks for the input! If I were to go with a 9800X3D instead, would that change anything?
