I'm considering investing in a high-end motherboard, specifically the x870e Apex. It seems to offer all the features I'm looking for, but I haven't come across many reviews to gauge its reliability. Has anyone experienced any issues with it, or can I expect it to perform well?

So, a heads up: if you enable both M.2_2 and M.2_3 at the same time, you’ll lose the use of PCIEX16_2. Also, if M.2_3 is on, PCIEX16_1 goes down to x8, and PCIEX16_2 runs x4, which means M.2_2 won’t work at all. It’s a bit of a letdown since you’re paying for five M.2 slots, but really only have 4 functional ones. Check out the specs on the official site for more details!

The lack of reviews might be because this board is more suited for a niche market. Those who really need its features are usually pretty tech-savvy and might not be looking for reviews. In general, it should work fine, but honestly, there are motherboards out there for around $250 that would serve you just as well for most uses.
