I'm seeing mixed reviews about the GIGABYTE GP-P650G 650 W 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU, and I'm curious if it's worth getting for under $100 CAD (around $70 USD). Should I choose this one or look for a different option?

The specific model matters—a PG-650 is rated C+, but we don't have as much info on the US variant. If you're shopping in Canada, you're likely not dealing with the US version.

Yeah, I'm looking at Canadian stores, so it should be the right one.

The quality isn't terrible at all, it's definitely usable. If you're on a budget, it could work for you.

For under $100 CAD, you might even find some 850W Gold PSUs that are good. The GIGABYTE one isn't bad, though! It's worth considering if you're set on that model.

Just to clarify, the GIGABYTE is priced in CAD, right?
