I'm curious if using an Intel 12400F with a 3080 Ti at 1440p would lead to any noticeable bottlenecks. Specifically, I'm interested in how it performs with demanding games like Battlefield 6, Warzone, and other AAA titles. Would the CPU hold back the GPU in those scenarios?

I've used a Ryzen 5 5600X, which performs similarly to the 12400F, with an RTX 3080 Ti, and I faced no bottlenecks. I later upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with an RTX 5080, and even at 1440p, my setup runs smoothly without any CPU limitations.

When running on max settings, the bottleneck should be negligible. However, if you crank it down to low settings, you might start to see a more significant bottleneck. It all depends on how you set up your game.

Your fps goals matter too. If you're shooting for high framerates on ultra settings, the CPU might struggle a bit, but for most settings at 1440p, it should be fine.

No, it's not going to bottleneck your 3080 Ti significantly. The 12400F and the Ryzen 5 5600X have similar performance levels, and the 5600X has been paired with high-end GPUs like the 3090 without any issues. If there's any bottleneck, it would be very minor at best.

It really depends on the type of game. For CPU-intensive games like Baldur's Gate 3 and some other titles that require a lot of processing power, you might see some bottlenecking. But for max settings in GPU-heavy games, the 12400F should handle things well.
