Is the Montech Century 2 Power Supply Reliable?

I came across the Montech Century 2 power supply rated at 850 watts. It's got a gold certification and an A- ranking on a tier list, plus the reviews seem pretty positive. However, I've stumbled upon a couple of videos where people reported their units blowing up or failing. The comments on those videos raised concerns about the product's reliability. Is this power supply a poor choice for my setup, which includes a 9070 XT and an R5 9600X?

It's actually a decent power supply. You shouldn't have any issues with it for your 9070 XT and 9600X setup. Just make sure to monitor temperatures!

Definitely a solid choice! I think you'll be fine with it.

Yeah, it's generally considered good. If those videos are legitimate, they might just be outliers. If you're worried, sharing links would help us understand the situation better.

I'd love to check out those videos you mentioned! From what I've seen, the Century II offers an incredible value for its price, and many users are happy with it.
