Is the NVIDIA 1050 Ti Still Supported with Drivers?

I'm looking to build a budget PC and considering the NVIDIA 1050 Ti as a graphics card. My main concern is whether it still receives driver support. I plan to use it for the next 2-3 years, and I'm worried that if driver support stops, the card will start lagging or become underperforming. Is that a valid concern, or am I overthinking it?

I can vouch for the 1050 Ti! I’ve got two working PCs with both the 750 Ti and the 1050 Ti, and they’re still holding up just fine.

While NVIDIA still puts out new drivers for older series like the 900s, the 1050 Ti is still being supported. Even if they stop updates down the line, the card's performance won't degrade; it just won't be optimized for the latest games.

The latest driver for the 1050 Ti is available, and it should stay online for the foreseeable future, so you should be good for now.

Don’t worry too much! Just because driver updates stop doesn’t mean your card will be slower. The performance improvements for older cards like the 1050 Ti are pretty negligible at this point.

As for the 10xx series, there will be quarterly security updates for a year starting from November 2025. So, you'll be getting those, but just know they won't include performance boosts for newer games.
