Is the Palit RTX 5070 worth choosing over the Gigabyte Windforce OC SFF?

I'm deciding between the Palit GeForce RTX 5070 Infinity 3 12GB and the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC SFF 12GB. Both use the same GPU and have the same amount of VRAM, but the Gigabyte card costs about €110 more. What differences should I expect in cooling, noise, build quality, performance, and warranty support, and is the more expensive model worth it?

In games, you probably won't notice a meaningful performance difference. The Gigabyte model may have different acoustics or temperatures, but those differences are usually small unless one card has a particularly weak cooler. If the Palit has adequate reviews and fits your case, saving €110 makes sense.

Brand reliability is subjective. Some people have had long-lasting Palit cards, while others have had poor experiences, and the same is true for Gigabyte. I would compare the exact cooler performance, card dimensions, warranty terms in your country, and return policy rather than relying only on the logo.

The main differences are the cooler, fan configuration, factory clock settings, physical size, and warranty or customer support. Since the GPUs and VRAM are the same, gaming performance should be very close. Cooling and noise are likely to matter more than the brand name.

I'd lean toward the Palit at that price. Some owners have reported good experiences with its cooling and warranty handling, and there is no reason to expect a major performance gap between these two cards. Check independent noise and temperature tests before buying.
