I'm about to build a new PC with an Intel Core Ultra 9 and 32 GB of RAM. While this setup is primarily for schoolwork, I'm also interested in doing some 1080p video editing. Do you think the RTX 4060 will be sufficient for my needs, or would it be worth it to upgrade to an RTX 4070?

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of your editing will also depend on the software you're using. Different programs have different hardware requirements both for processing and rendering. If you're planning to use something like DaVinci Resolve, make sure to check its specs to see how well your GPU fits.

I'm leaning towards Resolve since my current PC struggles with integrated graphics. I guess I'll need to keep that in mind!

The RTX 4060 should handle 1080p video editing pretty well. It won't be the absolute top performer, but it definitely has enough power for most tasks you would encounter.

Thanks for the reassurance! As long as it gets the job done, I'm happy.
