I recently purchased a Gigabyte Gaming RTX 5070 Ti to pair with my Ryzen 5 5600. I'm also thinking about switching to the AM5 platform down the line. Do you think this is a solid choice?

Absolutely, the RTX 5070 Ti is a great card! It's a powerful choice for gaming right now.

I would skip AM5 since AM6 is projected to release around 2028. It could be better to wait it out for now.

It really depends on your budget. If you can swing the costs, go for it! Otherwise, consider sticking with what you have for a bit longer.

I wouldn't rush into the AM5 platform just yet. The cost of RAM alone can be a big budget hit right now.

Exactly! You might want to stick with the AM4 platform and upgrade to something like the Ryzen 7 5800X or X3D. That way, you can keep using DDR4 RAM.

Yeah, you'll be fine. The 5600 might hold the card back a bit, but you shouldn't lose more than 10-15% in performance from your 5070 Ti.
