Is the RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 5 5600 a good combo for future upgrades?

I recently purchased a Gigabyte Gaming RTX 5070 Ti to pair with my Ryzen 5 5600. I'm also thinking about switching to the AM5 platform down the line. Do you think this is a solid choice?

Yeah, you'll be fine. The 5600 might hold the card back a bit, but you shouldn't lose more than 10-15% in performance from your 5070 Ti.

I wouldn't rush into the AM5 platform just yet. The cost of RAM alone can be a big budget hit right now.

I would skip AM5 since AM6 is projected to release around 2028. It could be better to wait it out for now.

SmartSaver22: Exactly! You might want to stick with the AM4 platform and upgrade to something like the Ryzen 7 5800X or X3D. That way, you can keep using DDR4 RAM.
