Is the RX 6800 XT Still a Good Buy in 2025?

I'm considering buying an RX 6800 XT for $250 on eBay. I want to know if this GPU is still relevant in 2025. I plan to use it for 1080p/1440p gaming and video editing. I've noticed that other cards like the 7800 XT and 9060 XT, which also have 16GB of VRAM, are priced under $500. Given my usage, do you think the RX 6800 XT is worth the $250, or should I save up for something better?

Yes, $250 is a great price! I got my non-XT version for similar specs, and it runs 1440p games at high settings with good frame rates, so I’d say go for it!

I have the RX 6800 XT and absolutely love it for 1440p gaming. At $250, it sounds like a solid deal, but make sure you can test it first just to be sure it’s working well.

I recently upgraded to a 9070 XT, but honestly, it’s not that much better than the 6800 XT for my gaming. Still handling everything well at 1440p, so I think it’s worth it if you’re getting it for that price!

Be wary of the condition of the card before buying. Many of the listings I’ve seen around that price are labeled 'Parts Only' which might indicate defects. If it’s fully functional, it’s a great price!

It's under 5.5 years old, and it performed well when it came out, so I’d say it’s still a good option for gaming.
