I'm considering purchasing a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800XT with 16GB for $350 and I'm curious if it's still a solid option for playing modern AAA games at 1440p in 2026 and beyond. Any thoughts on its performance and if it's worth the investment?

I own a Sapphire Pulse 6800 (non-XT version), and it's still performing excellently at 1440p! No rush to upgrade just yet. But if you can find that 9060XT for a similar price, definitely go for it!

If you can snag it used for less, that's a great deal. I have a 6800XT myself, and it runs 1440p really well. However, if you're looking new, consider saving up for a 9060XT instead. Paying $350 just feels a bit steep for the 6800XT.

Honestly, the 6800XT is decent, but there are newer cards available now that could provide better performance and support. Even entry-level GPUs from 2025 are incorporating advanced tech for better gaming experiences.

Totally agree. The difference in price between a used 9060XT and the 6800XT isn't just in raw power; it's about future-proofing your setup as well. If you can find a used 9060XT close to $350, that would be the wiser choice.

The 6800XT remains a powerful card for 1440p gaming, so if you can't find a 9060XT around the same price, the 6800XT is still a great option. It'll give you solid performance in AAA titles!

Overall, the 6800XT is awesome, especially if ray tracing isn’t your main thing. Just be aware that it might struggle with the newest titles at ultra detail settings as time goes on. But for now, it's still a solid card!
