I'm planning a gaming build with a Ryzen 5 7600X3D and a Radeon RX 9070. My goal is around 240 FPS at 1080p using mostly low settings, with some games possibly set to medium. Is this a well-balanced combination, or would another graphics card make more sense? I had also considered the RX 9060 XT 16GB and would like to know which option is better overall.

Yes, the 7600X3D is a strong match for the RX 9070, and it should handle the card without a problem. Even a Ryzen 5 7500F can pair reasonably well with this GPU. At 1080p on low settings, you may become CPU-limited in some games, but the 7600X3D is still a very capable choice for high-refresh-rate gaming. The RX 9070 is considerably faster than the RX 9060 XT, so it’s the better overall option if your budget allows and you want to get closer to 240 FPS.

The 9060 XT 16GB makes more sense if you’re trying to save money, but the RX 9070 offers substantially more performance and gives you better headroom for demanding games or higher settings.
