I just completed building my new PC, but when I turned it on, the monitor displayed no signal, even though the fans and RGB lights are working. I'm using an older Gigabyte B550 Eagle motherboard along with a new Ryzen 5 5600XT CPU. Could it be that the motherboard's BIOS is outdated and incompatible with the CPU? Is there a way to fix this without having to buy new parts?

It's definitely possible that you need to update your BIOS. That motherboard can be updated using a USB drive with the latest BIOS file. Check your manual for Q-Flash instructions or look it up online.
Yes, exactly! Just follow the steps in the manual, and it should update automatically when you start your PC.
Yeah, a BIOS update is likely necessary, but don’t worry, it’s usually a simple fix!

Got it! So I should find the latest BIOS version, put it on a USB, hook it up to the motherboard, and then just power on the PC to update it?
