Hey everyone! I've finally decided to upgrade my old system, saying goodbye to my i3-9100f and GTX 650. I'm putting together a new build (check it out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Qvfb6Q) and I'm aiming to play modern games like Expedition 33 at 1080p, targeting 60 fps on medium settings, with hopes of cranking up the settings and frame rates in the future. I'm wondering if the Ryzen 7 7700 and the RX 7600 XT make a good combo for this plan. Sorry if this seems like a silly question!

Have you considered the 9060 XT instead? The price difference isn't huge and you'd gain good performance. But I get it, the 7600 XT is more budget-friendly; it’s currently around $460 in your area, while the 9060 goes for about $700. Just something to think about if you want more GPU power!
Honestly, the Ryzen 7 7700 might be a bit overkill for the RX 7600 XT right now. It's a solid CPU, especially if you plan to upgrade your GPU later. But for the current pairing, it might feel a little CPU-heavy.

I appreciate the feedback! The pricing is really the main factor for me, but thanks for pointing that out!
