I'm heading to a Microcenter nearby because they have the Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB SSD in stock. I'm planning to buy two of these for my first PC build, and I've already got 32GB of RAM (2x16 GB). Is this SSD a solid choice for my setup?

Yes, that's a solid choice! Just make sure your motherboard and CPU support PCIe 5.0 if you're looking to get the most out of it.

The Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB is highly rated, known for efficiency and performance. It's a great option for gaming or general use, but remember, it doesn't have a DRAM cache, which might affect speed in some scenarios.

Great choice overall! It works well with PS5 and PCs alike. Just consider that it may not always reach its peak speeds depending on your system, but it's reliable with good software support.

It’s a good SSD, especially for its size and speed. Just keep an eye on the price—sometimes you can find comparable drives for less.
