Is there a slim, phone-like camera with a large screen and selfie mode?

I'm looking for a dedicated camera or camcorder so I don't have to keep using my iPhone 11 for photos and videos. My phone only has 64GB of storage, and apps, WhatsApp data, photos, and videos are constantly taking up space. I'd prefer to keep my memories accessible without repeatedly deleting or moving them.

Ideally, I want something with smartphone-like photo quality, a reasonably large screen for reviewing and framing shots, selfie capability, and a slim design that can fit in a pocket. I've looked at cameras such as the Insta360 and Kandao Qoocam, but their screens are small, and some lack a practical selfie mode. Compact point-and-shoot cameras seem closer, although many are still fairly bulky. Does a good-quality camera meet these requirements?

If you’re willing to use removable storage, a USB-C or Lightning-compatible flash drive can make backing up photos and videos much easier. That lets you keep using the iPhone camera while moving older files off the internal storage when necessary, although they won’t all remain available in the phone’s photo library.

I’ve transferred files before, but I prefer having all the memories immediately available on the device. I’d also be happy to spend money on a better camera if it offered the same convenience.

The closest practical option may actually be a newer or inexpensive second-hand phone used only as a camera. Dedicated cameras generally don’t offer the same combination of a large touchscreen, front-facing camera, slim body, built-in storage management, and smartphone-style processing. You could keep your current phone for everyday use and use the other device purely for photos and video.

That’s probably the most realistic solution, although I was hoping to find something that behaved like an iPhone camera without also being a phone.
