Is There a Way to Get Live F1 Data During Races?

I'm curious if there's a way to access live data from Formula 1 cars during races, like their speed, sector times, and positions on the track. I've heard of the FastF1 module, but I've read that it only updates every 5-10 minutes. Just to clarify, I'm not looking to profit from this—it's purely for fun and to practice my skills. Sometimes, the race coverage misses out on exciting battles happening further down the grid. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get these stats?

Unfortunately, if you're not part of the industry, getting that data might be tough. Are you hoping to use it for betting or something similar?

Not at all! I'm too young to bet! I just want to visualize the race better and see the full picture instead of just what the cameras show.

There are some sources out there if you look around a bit. For instance, check out the FastF1 GitHub repo for access to timing data, telemetry, and results. It’s a solid starting point! Also, you might want to look into f1tv-dl if you have an F1 TV subscription—you could stream the races and analyze the data live!

Thanks for the tips!
