I'm putting together my first gaming PC and would appreciate feedback on compatibility, value, and any parts that should be changed. I'm based in Switzerland, and the complete build costs roughly 1,000 CHF. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 โ€” 126 CHF Motherboard: MSI B550M Pro-VDH WIFI โ€” 94.90 CHF Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16GB DDR4-3000 โ€” 30 CHF used Storage: Kingston NV3 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe โ€” 138 CHF Graphics card: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 9060 XT โ€” 415 CHF Case: Fractal Design North, white โ€” 111 CHF Power supply: Corsair RM750e 750W, modular, 80+ โ€” 86 CHF Since I'm new to building PCs, I'd especially like to know whether there are any compatibility concerns, weak points, or better alternatives for the money.

The Nitro+ card is usually a more premium model, so it may not be worth paying extra over a Pulse or another cooler design. In your case, though, if the Nitro+ is genuinely cheaper than the Pulse, itโ€™s a perfectly sensible choice. Just compare the warranty, dimensions, and power connectors, and confirm that it fits comfortably in the case.

The main upgrade Iโ€™d consider is faster memory. A 2x8GB DDR4-3600 kit could provide slightly better performance than DDR4-3000, assuming you can find it at a reasonable price. Make sure itโ€™s a matched dual-channel kit rather than a single 16GB module. Also, 16GB is still usable, but 32GB would give you more breathing room for newer games and multitasking if the budget allows.
