I'm planning to build my first gaming PC and would really appreciate some advice before ordering the parts. I'm based in the Netherlands, so these are the current prices I found in euros. The build includes a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WiFi motherboard for €559, 32GB of KLEVV CRAS V RGB DDR5-6400 CL32 memory for €459, an ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB OC for €829, an ARCTIC Freezer 36 A-RGB cooler for €31.90, a 2TB Lexar NM790 SSD for €262, a Corsair RM850e 2025 850W power supply for €128, and a Montech XR case for €59.90. The listed total is €2,328.80. Does this look like a well-balanced build, and are there any parts you would change for better value, compatibility, or performance?

I’d use a stronger dual-tower air cooler instead of the ARCTIC Freezer 36. Something like a Thermalright Phantom Spirit would give the processor more cooling headroom, especially under sustained loads.
The overall parts list looks solid. I’d compare other RX 9070 XT models from Sapphire or XFX as well, since their coolers and noise levels may be better than the ASUS Prime model for a similar price. Also double-check the memory price and motherboard support, because €459 for 32GB is unusually high and DDR5-6000 is often an easier speed to run reliably on AM5.
I’ll check the Sapphire and XFX cards and verify the RAM pricing and compatibility.
The build is powerful, but the 9800X3D may be more CPU than you need for this graphics card. A 7800X3D could offer a better balance and free up some of the budget while still delivering excellent gaming performance.
That’s a good point. I’ll compare the 7800X3D before deciding.
