I'm planning to build a gaming PC around November with a budget of about $2,400. I'll be gaming at 1440p and 144 Hz, and I strongly prefer an NVIDIA graphics card over an AMD card because I want access to NVIDIA features and ray tracing. Is my planned parts list well-balanced, or are there better component choices for the money? I also realize prices may change before November.

Before judging the parts list, it helps to know the target resolution, refresh rate, and whether you care about ray tracing or NVIDIA-specific features. Since you’re aiming for 1440p at 144 Hz and prefer NVIDIA, choose the GPU around those priorities, then balance the rest of the build around it. Don’t lock in prices too early—PC hardware pricing can shift quite a bit by November.
For a gaming-focused build at this budget, you can usually get excellent 1440p performance with a strong gaming CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a fast 2 TB NVMe SSD, and an NVIDIA card suited to the games and features you want. Make sure the power supply is a reputable 750–850 W Gold-rated model and check cooler, case, and motherboard compatibility. It may be worth revisiting the entire list closer to November instead of buying based on today’s prices.
