I'm considering a second-hand PC build and wanted some feedback. Here's what I'm looking at for £800: an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-core processor, a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD, an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT GPU, a DeepCool LE720 ARGB 360mm cooler, 16GB of CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO RAM, an MSI 1000W ATX 3.0 fully modular power supply, and an Asustek PRIME B450M-K motherboard. Is this a solid choice or not?

Are you buying this already built or piecing it together with second-hand parts? The CPU and GPU are decent for a budget build, but the motherboard is pretty basic. You might save on the SSD; Samsung is pricey, and you could pick a different brand. Also, water cooling isn’t really necessary unless you’re aiming for a super high-performance rig. A 1000W PSU is overkill for this setup; a good 650W would suffice.

It's a used pre-built system.

Honestly, that's more like a £600 build at best. You could get a newer setup with a 7600 and a 9060 XT for about £850. It's more worth it for better performance.
