Is This Battery Drain and Charging Speed Normal on a New Galaxy M36 5G?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy M36 5G yesterday and I'm unsure whether its battery performance is normal. I charged it from 10% to 93%, which took about an hour and a half. After using the phone continuously for around two hours at 60 Hz, the battery dropped by 26% and was at 67%. Is that reasonable, and is the charging time expected?

Some owners report getting more than seven hours of screen-on time with moderate use, but battery life depends heavily on signal strength, brightness, apps, gaming, and video playback. I’d give the phone several days to finish optimizing before deciding there’s a fault.

A 26% drop over two hours can be normal if you were using demanding apps, watching videos, using mobile data, or had high brightness. Since the phone is new, setup tasks, app updates, syncing, and indexing can also use extra power for the first few days. Check the battery usage screen to see which app is consuming the most.

The charging time sounds fairly typical if you’re using a standard charger or if fast charging isn’t enabled. Make sure you’re using a compatible charger and cable, and check the battery settings for fast-charging options. Charging speed can also slow near the upper percentage range.
