Is this CPU and motherboard bundle a good upgrade for 4K gaming?

I currently have an Intel Core i9-9900 and an RTX 2070 Super, and I'm planning to move toward 4K gaming. I found a bundle featuring a high-end Ryzen 9 9950X/9950X3D-class processor and motherboard, and I'd like opinions on whether it's worth buying. I plan to keep using my RTX 2070 Super temporarily while I save for a newer graphics card, and I know I'll need to replace my 650W power supply with a higher-wattage model. Would this bundle make sense for my upgrade path, or should I spend the money differently?

If you live near a major computer retailer, compare its current bundle deals before buying this one. Some bundles pair a more gaming-oriented X3D processor with a suitable motherboard and memory for considerably less. I’d also make sure the eventual power supply is a quality unit with enough headroom for the graphics card you’re considering, rather than choosing wattage alone.

I’d pass on this bundle for your situation. At 4K, the graphics card is usually the main performance limit, so a very expensive CPU and motherboard won’t give you much benefit while you’re still using an RTX 2070 Super. You’d be better off putting most of the budget toward the GPU first, then upgrading the platform if you still need more CPU performance.
