I'm planning a new PC in Germany with a budget of about €2,200. I'll mainly use it for gaming, but I also use Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop for part-time work. The current parts list costs roughly €2,162 and includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE cooler, ASRock Z890 motherboard, 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, a 2 TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD, Radeon RX 9070 graphics card, Lian Li LANCOOL 216 case, and an 850 W Gold-rated power supply. Does this configuration offer good value and balanced performance, or are there better component choices for the money?

It’s worth comparing the CPU and GPU prices before committing. A Ryzen 7 7800X3D is around €280, the 9800X3D is about €430, and an RX 9070 XT is roughly €870 in your area. The X3D processors may be stronger for gaming, while the Intel chip can be the better choice for Premiere Pro, so the right option depends on how much time you spend editing versus gaming.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus seems to perform noticeably better than both of those Ryzen X3D chips in Premiere Pro, which is why I’m considering keeping it for the work-related tasks.
